Providing a consistent, youth-centered, after-school art program for young people detained by Pinellas, Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties. Funded 100% by donations, this in-house program is a rare space for self-expression, connection, and healing within a more restrictive carceral facility. This program is led by trained artists who are mentored in socially engaged, trauma-informed practices.
