Programs
Next Stop Studio is our longest running initiative where we bring art programming to youth living in high-stress, high-transition environments such as group children’s homes. This program provides consistent, trauma-informed creative engagement that helps build trust, reduce isolation, and foster a sense of agency among participants.
Help Bring Art to Children’s Homes:
You may know it best as the NOMAD Art Bus: our four-wheeled, 500-square-foot mobile canvas that we roll out to community events. It allows us to share joyful experiences and connect folks to the work we do in our other initiatives.
Keep us rolling:
Providing a consistent, youth-centered, after-school art program for young people detained by Pinellas, Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties. Funded 100% by donations, this in-house program is a rare space for self-expression, connection, and healing within a more restrictive carceral facility. This program is led by trained artists who are mentored in socially engaged, trauma-informed practices.

MicroCamp
Under our Studio on the Block initiative, we provide resources for teaching artists to pop up MicroCamps in driveways, yards, and parks in their own neighborhoods. It’s a fun, no-registration way for children to explore their creativity. Easy to bike, walk, or skateboard to, the MicroCamps are a great way to gather for community-building, art activities, and take-home art supplies.
This initiative has been recognized University of Florida College of the Arts and has been included in their WE-Making Repository as a “Promising Practices Case Study” to facilitate field-wide learning. WE-Making provides a landmark, evidence-informed framework that maps the relationship between place-based arts and cultural strategies, social cohesion, and increased equitable community well-being.
